A succesful replantation of total scalp, forehead, left ear, eyebrows and upper eyelids amputation and 6-year follow-up results

Despite the technical difficulties, microvascular replantation is the oustanding method of treatment for avulsed scalps because of the superior aesthetic results, social and psychological benefits. We presented a successful replantation of the almost whole of the scalp also the left ear, the entire forehead, eyebrows and upper eyelids in this case, also functional assessment of the case in the postoperative sixth year was reported.

Skalp amputasyonlarında mikrovasküler replantasyon teknik zorluklarına rağmen üstün estetik sonuçları, sosyal ve psikolojik avantajları nedeni ile ilk tercih olarak değerlendirilmesi gereken seçkin tedavi yöntemidir. Biz bu olguda saçlı derinin tamamına yakınının ayrıca sol kulak, tüm alın bölgesi, her iki kaş ile üst göz kapaklarını içeren tam bir amputasyonun başarılı replantasyonunu ve olgunun ameliyat sonrası 6. yıldaki fonksiyonel değerlendirmesini sunmaktayız.
