Larynx, Hypopharynx And Mandible Injury Due To The External Penetrating Neck Injury

Eosophageal and larengealand laryngeal injuries due to the blastic injuries are seldom encountered. External neck traumas genereally result in death. Incidience of external penetran neck injuries may vary between 1/5000 – 137000 patients among emergency servis referrals. Vascular injuries, eosophagus – hypopharynx perforations, larnygotracheal injuries, bony fractures and segmentations may be encountered in external neck traumas.

Here we report a 27 year old male patient who referred our emergency department and represented wtih hyoid bone fracture, multiple mandibula fractures, hypopharynx perforation due to a blastic external neck injury.
