RETROPERITONEAL APPENDICITIS PERFORATION AND PLEURAL EFFUSION

Appendectomy and retroperitoneal abscess draninage was performed. Retroperitoneal appendicitis perforation, as cause of abscess formation and pleural effusion, is discussed, and the literature is reviewed.
