Behçet hastalýðýna baðlý multipl ince baðýrsak perforasyonu

Behçet hastalýðý, kronik, nükslerle seyreden, pek çok sistemi tutan, idiyopatik enflamatuvar bir hastalýktýr. Gastrointestinal sistemde aðýzdan sonra en sýk tutulum yeri ileoçekal bölgedir. Behçet hastalýðýnýn neden olduðu intestinal ülserlerler, perforasyonlara neden olabilmektedir. On dokuz yaþýnda erkek hasta Behçet hastalýðý tanýsý ile hastanemize kabul edildi. Hastada akut karýn geliþmesi üzerine kliniðimizde ameliyat edildi ve laparotomi sýrasýnda terminal ileumda multipl perforasyonlar olduðu saptandý. Hastaya parsiyel ileum rezeksiyonu yapýldý. Ameliyat sonrasý dönemi sorunsuz seyreden hasta taburcu edildi. Hastanýn ileostomisi ilk ameliyattan sonraki ikinci ayda kapatýldý. On altý aylýk izlem periyodunda hastada klinik olarak önemli bir sorun görülmedi. Bu yazýda Behçet hastalýðýnýn tanýsý sýrasýnda nadiren görülen bir komplikasyon olan multipl ileum perforasyonu sunuldu ve yayýnlanmýþ olgularýn bilgisi altýnda tartýþýldý.

Multiple small bowel perforations due to Behcet’s disease

Behcet’s disease is a chronic, relapsing, multisystemic, idiopathic, and inflammatory disease. A common gastrointestinal site other than the mouth is the ileocecal region. Intestinal ulcers, due to Behcet’s disease, can cause perforation. A 19-year-old male patient was admitted to our hospital for Behcet’s disease. The patient developed acute abdomen, and laparotomy revealed multiple perforations throughout the terminal ileum. He underwent partial ileum resection. Postoperative period was uneventful, and the patient was discharged. The patient’s ileostomy was closed two months after the first operation. He was clinically well during the 16-month follow-up period. This study aimed to report multiple ileum perforations as an unusual complication of Behcet’s disease at the time of presentation and review of the current literature of reported cases.
